Dr. Priyadarsan Patra is the founding Dean of School of Computer Sci. & Engg., Xavier University Bhubaneswar. Dr. Patra worked as Lead Principal Technologist and Validation Architect at Intel’s Data Center Group with 20+ years creating and leading world-class research and development for Server, SoC and Client processors involving Design, Validation, Debug, and Test. He holds a Ph.D. from the Univ. of Texas at Austin. He has authored 10+ patents and numerous publications and has led several technical conferences. He serves as founding Chair of the IEEE-CEDA System Validation and Debug Technology Committee (SVDTC).He also developed domino circuit synthesis and power-noise tradeoff optimization for P4 class of processors. He architected and co-designed probe less post-silicon debug capability for servers.  A founding member of Validation Research Lab of Intel, he led research efforts in run-time validation, resilient architecture, and early design exploration of networks-on-chip.  Dr. Patra serves on the committees of several IEEE conferences and mentors through SRC, GSRC programs. He is elected Senior Member of the ACM and the IEEE. He is on the editorial board and board of governors of several academic institutions. Dr. Priyadarsan Patra shares a deep and joyous passion for sustainable and equitable development and for inventing and using technology for social progress. He is Founding Chair of the Sustainable Economic and Educational Development Society (SEEDS).

 

Dr. Vipul Jain is a Senior Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management at Victoria Business School, joining the school from a role as Assistant Professor at University of Sharjah, UAE and IIT Delhi, India. Dr Jain has also worked as a French Government researcher for the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control at Nancy, France, and was also involved in the European project I*PROMS (Innovative Production Machines and Systems) from UK. Dr Jain has more than 100 archival publications to his credit in high impact factor journals, as well as conference papers and books chapters, and is also the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Intelligent Enterprise and an Editorial Board member for seven international journals. Dr. Jain has also guest-edited special issues of prestigious international journals in the areas of Operations and Supply Chain Management. Dr Jain  is ranked 7th in India in a list of top 20 Indian leading academicians publishing in the area of Logistics and Supply Chain management in an exhaustive study entitled “Analysis of the Logistics research in India- white paper (2012), pp.1-11” conducted by researchers from Institute of Transport Logistics, Dortmund University, Institute for Supply Chain and Network Management, Technische Universität Darmstadt, and University of Münster, Germany. Dr Jain is involved as a scientific and advisory committee member for various international conferences. He was the Programme Coordinator for the Masters in Industrial Engineering Programme at IIT Delhi and has been actively involved in conducting Management Development Programmes/Training Programmes for Senior Managers and Executives of Public and Private Organizations in India on various issues and challenges encountered in Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management.

 

Dr. Nilanjan Dey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Techno India College of Technology, Rajarhat, Kolkata, India. He also holds an honorary position of Visiting Scientist at Global Biomedical Technologies Inc. in California, USA, and Research Scientist in the Laboratory of Applied Mathematical Modeling in Human Physiology, Territorial Organization of Scientific and Engineering Unions, Bulgaria. He is an Associate Researcher of Laboratoire RIADI, University of Manouba, Tunisia. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of theInternational Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence, the International Journal of Rough Sets and Data Analysis and the International Journal of Synthetic Emotions. Furthermore, He is the Editor of the Advances in Geospatial Technologies (AGT) Book Series; Executive Editor of International Journal of Image Mining (IJIM), Inderscience; Regional Editor-Asia of International Journal of Intelligent Engineering Informatics (IJIEI), Inderscience, and Associate Editor of International Journal of Service Science, Management, Engineering, and Technology. His research interests include Medical Imaging, Soft Computing, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Rough Sets, Mathematical Modeling, and Computer Simulation, Modeling of Biomedical Systems, Robotics, and Systems, Information Hiding, Security, Computer-Aided Diagnosis, Atherosclerosis.
